My Speech

My Reflection
I have been learning to write a persuasive speech.
I found it challenging because I had to think what kind of speech I wanted to do but then I kept on doing it all over again and thinking of a new speech.
Something I learnt was to how to write a speech.
I was scared to present my speech to the class but I felt happy after I did it.
My next step is to ad more interesting language like onomatopoeia.

WALT sumarise a fiction text

Reflection
I am learning to summarize a text in my own words.
Something I did well was I used in the beginning 2-3 sentences.
In this activity we learnt how to write a summarizing activity about Maui and the giant Ika.
I found this hard because when I was in year four I used to not to be able to summarise an information text and retelling a story.
My next step is that I can hopefully write an information and to summarise retelling the story and in my own words in year six.

Using the <, > and = math signs

Reflection
I am learning to use the <, > and = math signs
I was able to put the correct sign (<, > or =) between these numbers. And remember - the crocodile always eats the bigger number.
I found this easy because we learnt this math last week.
My next step is to get harder questions.
